KEYBOARD / MOUSE

• Choose computer or local two-player, then Start. Click a piece and a highlighted legal destination. Arrow keys move focus on the board; Enter or Space selects.
• Online Friend creates a temporary room when the free room service is connected. Send the invite link, or join with a room code. Keep your original browser to retain your seat. Rooms expire after 24 hours or a server restart.
• Choose White or Black and Casual, Club or Challenge computer play. Settings apply to a new game. No clock or accounts.
• Fullscreen expands the board and controls. Changing view pauses; Resume continues. Escape exits fullscreen.
• Castling, en passant, check, checkmate, stalemate and all four promotion choices are enforced. Threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule allow Claim Draw; fivefold and seventy-five moves draw automatically.
• Undo removes one move locally, or your last turn plus the computer reply. Flip changes the view. Save PGN downloads the move record. Resign and New Game require confirmation once moves exist.
• Online rooms enforce turns on the server. Undo is offline only. Both players must request a rematch; colors swap. Pause holds only your view while your friend can continue.

TOUCH

• Tap a piece, then a highlighted destination. Choose the promotion piece when your pawn reaches the final rank.
• Local two-player shares one device; White moves first. Flip Board lets the other player view their side.

Start, then use Tab to enter the board. Arrow keys move between squares; Enter or Space selects a piece or destination. Leaving the game pauses computer play.
