MARWAN FARHA
I work across design, technology, products and communications.
Strategy and making.
My work sits between strategy and making. I lead digital products and platforms, shape brands and interfaces, build small tools and larger product ideas, and spend a lot of time thinking about how systems should behave once people actually use them.
A studio for the work between disciplines.
Twain is the independent design, technology and product studio I originally built years ago and revived in 2026. It is the home for work that does not fit neatly inside one discipline: products, commissioned work, systems, experiments and new ventures.
I build things I want to exist.
I tend to build products around problems I actually care about: training, image workflows, specialist AI systems, small utilities and whatever else seems useful enough to deserve a real interface.
Where the interface language comes from.
I grew up around arcade games, home computers, BBSs, IRC, NFO files and the wider computing culture of the late 1980s through the early 2000s. That history still shows up in how I think about interfaces: boot sequences, directories, commands, status, input and systems that reveal how they work.
Mechanical systems count too.
Motorcycles, cars, tools and mechanical systems are part of the same curiosity. The interest is not separate from design or technology; it comes from the same habit of understanding how something behaves, what can be changed, and what happens when you push it beyond the default setting.
The subject changes. The behavior does not.
The same habit runs through products, interfaces, machines, games, writing and everything else collected here.
